Robert is a Professor of Accounting at Virginia Tech.

Susan continues to serve as a Project Manager with Southern Company Services, Inc. (subsidiary of Southern Company -utility). Previously a part of the SCS Information Technology (IT) Program Management Office, the Project Management office department moved out of IT at the end of 2011 to an overall Southern Company Services corporate level under the Business Performance Services organization. Susan is presently managing IT projects in the business functional areas of Distribution (including AMI) and Transmission.

“Currently I am retired from active teaching. However I am working as an Advisor to HCLInfosys & Advisor to Eternal University, both institutions in India. I am also freelancing as an Education Consultant, engaged in tie-ups between India & foreign academic and professional institutions. I travel frequently between the US and India.”

We have been married for almost 24 years. Jay is a Consulting Technical Manager for Oracle and Suzette worked at Bellsouth as a Staff Analyst before leaving to be a stay-at-home mom. We have 2 children. Our oldest just graduated from high school and will be heading to Georgia Tech in the fall.

Our very own Christine Franklin was interviewed and featured in the Science Policy Column in the May edition of the Amstat News discussing her effort in rewriting the statistics standards portion of the Georgia Performance Standards for 6th-12th. The Department of Statistics at the University of Georgia invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Lecturer or Instructor, starting August 2012. Preference will be given to strong applicants who qualify for the rank of Lecturer, which requires a Ph.D. in statistics or a closely related field. However, applicants with an M.S. degree in statistics, or a closely related field, and an exceptional record of teaching excellence will receive consideration at the rank of Instructor.
