Dr. Satrajit Roychoudhury is a Senior Director and a member of Statistical Research and Innovation group in Pfizer Inc. Prior to joining, he was a member of Statistical Methodology and consulting group in Novartis. He started his career as a research statistician in Schering Plough Research Institute (now Merck Co.). He has 12+ years of extensive experience in working with different phases of clinical trial. His primary expertise includes implementation of innovative statistical methodology in clinical trial.

Each year, The UGA Graduate School seeks nominations for the annual Excellence in Research by Graduate Students awards to recognize the outstanding scholarship of our graduate students. Evaluation and selection are based upon the student’s overall scholarship/research activity, as presented in the materials in the nomination file and not necessarily only on the dissertation. Dr.

This award for excellence in teaching annually honors outstanding faculty in the Franklin College who have shown a sustained commitment to high quality instruction. Abhyuday is a very popular and successful instructor, as well as an outstanding mentor for students interested in undergraduate research or further study. He is a highly regarded supervisor of graduate student research and a valuable contributor to teaching-related outreach.
