BDAL Recognized for Two Papers at STAI-X 2026 Conference at Harvard University

UGA Statistics would like to share some exciting news from the Big Data Analytics Lab. Two of their papers were recognized at the STAI-X 2026 Conference (Statistics and Trustworthy AI for Cross-Domain Acceleration), held at Harvard University on July 31–August 1:

  • Paper Award: “Wahkon: A Statistically Principled Deep RKHS Superposition Network”
  • Paper Honorable Mention: “NeuroMAS: Multi-Agent Systems as Neural Networks with Joint Reinforcement Learning”

Dr. Prince Allotey Selected for the 2026-2027 Teaching Academy Early Career Fellows Program

Congratulations to Dr. Prince Allotey for being selected to participate in the 2026-27 Early Career Fellows Program of the UGA Teaching Academy. The mission of this program is to promote excellence in classroom instruction by mentoring early-career faculty. Each summer, 15-20 early-career (1-3 years) faculty are selected as Teaching Academy Early Career Fellows (TAECF) for the upcoming academic year.
