The department welcomes Jien Chen to the faculty as Associate Director for the Statistical Consulting Center. Jien will work closely with the Director of the SCC, Jaxk Reeves, and has started her position in the reopened SCC at the rank of Academic Professional in July.
After 10 years of dedicated service to the department, Jill Smith has accepted a position as Lecturer at the University of California Riverside. The position starts in the fall of 2008. Thank you for your tireless contributions Jill!
We congratulate Chandler Pike with her promotion to Senior Academic Professional, which will be effective in August of 2008.
Beginning August 2008, Chris Franklin will hold the rank of Senior Lecturer. Congratulations with this promotion Chris!
Starting in August of 2008, Nicole Lazar will hold the rank of Full Professor. We congratulate Nicole with this highly deserved promotion.
