Abstract

Congratulations to Jeevan Jankar for being awarded the 2023 George Hugh Boyd Memorial Scholarship. Recipients of this award are expected to have high moral and academic standards and a philosophy of giving back to the community the best they have to offer. Jeevan’s research is broadly focused on developing statistical methodologies and applications in the Design of Experiments (DoE) and Computer Experiments (CE).

The grant proposal titled “Equitable Statistics Education through Active Learning” led by team facilitators, Maduranga Dassanayake and Abhyuday Mandal, and the STAT 2000 Coordinator, Nick Toebben, has been awarded the inaugural Active Learning Change Grants from UGA.
