Jun Ye (PhD 2008)

Jun Ye is working at Massachusetts General Hospital. His job duties are quite similar to those in his consulting job at UGA. He assists medical doctors in Nephrology with the statistical analysis sections of their papers.

Terri Huff Henderson (MS 2002)

Terri Huff Henderson started working at Bank of America as Credit Risk Officer then moved to Market Information Manager. She then transitioned into the same company her husband, Mike (class of 2001), works for, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, as a Clinical Claims Project Leader. Mid this year she will be transitioning to Sr. Biostatistician at the same company thanks to the demand for the skill set attained in the statistics department. Terri and Mike have been married just over 5 years and have two Dachshunds. Outside of working as statisticians they both pursue their hobbies.

Lee Bennett (MS 1999)

Lee Bennett is a research statistician at RTI Health Solutions in Research Triangle Park, NC. He's been with RTI since 2002, and his work focuses on epidemiology and clinical trials, mostly in oncology. Before joining RTI, he worked in bioinformatics for two years at NIEHS as a statistician in a microarray lab. He is also a full-time Ph.D. student in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His wife Jenny (a UGA alum) is a veterinarian, and they live in Durham, NC, with their many cats and two dogs.

Nancy Murphy Herrero (MS 1997)

Nancy Murphy Herrero has been working for BellSouth (now AT&T Southeast) for the past 5 years, starting as a Statistician for Credit & Collections and now Managing Credit Policy for Consumer and Small Business Services in the Finance organization. Prior to BellSouth, she worked for Equifax Decision Solutions and for Research Triangle Institute in the Statistical Research Division. Nancy and her husband, Edward, have been married for 2 years and they live in Atlanta, GA.

Steve VanWieren (MS 1995)

Steve VanWieren works at Equifax, where he had the luxury of starting up a department in 2003 called Strategic Data Analytics. They are responsible for performing analytic projects in support of Data Acquisition, Data Quality, Data Integration, and ongoing monitoring of all of Equifax's data. The group is mainly focused on US data but will soon be Stretching out globally. Steve lives in Cumming , GA and is married ("since 1994 to the best girl in the world!"). He has two daughters, ages 9 and 6.
