Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Statistics Education

The Department of Statistics at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, starting August 2011. Applicants must have a demonstrated research interest in statistics education. A Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Statistics Education, or a closely related field is required. Scholarly credentials must reflect a strong commitment to teaching at all levels. Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate potential to develop an active research program in statistical education.

Assistant or Associate Professor Position in Statistics / Bioinformatics

The Department of Statistics and the Institute of Bioinformatics at the University of Georgia invite applications for a position at the assistant or associate professor level, starting August 2011. Applicants must have a demonstrated research interest in bioinformatics. The tenure home for the position is in the Department of Statistics. A Ph.D. in statistics or a related field is required.
