As statisticians, we know that the R ecosystem is well-developed and filled with packages designed to make the processing, analysis and visualization of data as simple and powerful as possible. As more attention has been paid to the issue of reproducible research in the sciences, this ecosystem has begun to extend into the realm of docu-ment creation. In this talk, I’ll demonstrate the use of tools and packages such as RStudio, R Markdown, xtable, stargazer and broom. At the end of the talk, you’ll know a basic workflow that will allow you to create a write-up incorporating R code, figures and Latex that compiles to a completed PDF with a single button press.
